Please Note:  The call sheets serve as general guidelines for issuing commands to the competitors. These directives are intentionally flexible, allowing trainers and drivers the freedom to present their skills in the best possible light.

Pleasure Driving

 

Walk Only Pleasure Driving       Classes 401 and 404
​

  • Begin in the arena at “A”  tracking right. Walk for 10 strides  

  • Announce “You are now being judged”.

  • Walk halfway around the arena and transition to the halt. Halt for 3 seconds and continue at the walk back to “A”

  • At the corner reverse direction on the diagonal, continue walking.

  • Walk halfway around the arena and transition to the halt, Halt for 3 seconds and continue walking.  

  • Walk halfway around the arena and bring the horse to the center of the arena to line up and halt.

  • May have a header

  • Wait for Videographer 

 

Walk Only Pleasure Driving           Classes    405 and 408
​

  • Begin in the arena at “A”  tracking right. Normal walk for 10 strides  

  • Announce “You are now being judged”.

  • Walk halfway around the arena and transition to the halt. Halt for 3 seconds and continue at the normal walk for approximately 75’

  • Transition to an extended walk

  • Proceed approximately halfway around the arena at the extended walk

  • Transition to normal walk

  • At the corner reverse direction on the diagonal, continue walking.

  • Walk halfway around the arena and transition to the halt, Halt for 3 seconds and continue at the normal walk for approximately 75’.  

  • Transition to an extended walk

  • Proceed approximately halfway around the arena at the extended walk

  • Transition to normal walk

  • Walk approximately 75’ and bring the horse to the center of the arena to line up and halt.

  • May have a header

  • Wait for Videographer 

 

Walk/Trot Pleasure Driving.             Class 402

​

  • Begin in the arena at “A”  tracking right. Walk for 10 strides  

  • Announce “You are now being judged”.

  • Walk halfway around the arena and halt. Halt for 3 seconds and continue at the walk 

  • Continue at the walk approximately 75’ and develop the normal trot. 

  • Normal trot the long side

  • Transition to the walk towards the end of the long side

  • Continue walking to corner

  • Reverse direction on the diagonal, continue walking.

  • Walk approximately 75 and develop the normal trot. 

  • Trot the long side

  • Transition to the walk towards the end of the long side

  • Walk approximately 75’, bring the horse to the center of the arena to line up and halt.

  • May have a header

  • Wait for Videographer 

 

Walk/Trot Pleasure Driving           Classes 403 and 406
​

  • Begin in the arena at “A”  tracking right. Walk for 10 strides  

  • Announce “You are now being judged”.

  • Walk halfway around the arena and halt. Halt for 3 seconds and continue at the walk 

  • Continue at the walk approximately 75’ and develop the normal trot. 

  • Normal trot the approximately halfway around the arena

  • Transition to the slow trot

  • Transition to the walk towards the end of the long side

  • Continue walking to corner

  • Reverse direction on the diagonal, continue walking.

  • Walk approximately to the midway of the long side and develop the normal trot. 

  • Normal trot approximately halfway around the arena

  • Transition to the slow trot

  • Slow trot approximately halfway around the arena

  • Transition to the walk and walk approximately 75’

  • Bring the horse to the center of the arena to line up and halt.

  • May have a header

  • Wait for Videographer 

 

Walk/Trot Pleasure Driving            Class 407

  • Begin in the arena at “A”  tracking right. Walk for 10 strides

  • Walk halfway around the arena and transition to the halt. Halt for 3 seconds and continue at the walk

  • Approximately midway down the long side, demonstrate a circle to the inside

  • Continue at the walk

  • At the corner reverse direction on the diagonal, continue walking.

  • Approximately midway down the long side demonstrate a circle to the inside, continue walking.

  • Walk halfway around the arena and transition to the halt. Halt for 3 seconds and continue at the walk

  • Walk halfway around the arena and bring the horse to the center of the arena to line up and halt.

  • May have a header

  • Wait for Videographer 

 

Walk Only Reinsmanship           Classes   415 and 418
​

  • Begin in the arena at “A”  tracking right. Normal walk for 10 strides  

  • Announce “You are now being judged”.

  • Walk halfway around the arena and transition to the halt. Halt for 3 seconds

  • Continue at the normal walk for approximately 75’

  • Transition to an extended walk

  • Proceed at the extended walk approximately halfway around the arena

  • Transition to normal walk

  • Approximately midway down the long side, demonstrate a circle to the inside

  • Continue at the walk

  • At the corner reverse direction on the diagonal, continue walking.

  • Walk halfway around the arena and transition to the halt, Halt for 3 seconds and continue at the normal walk for approximately 75’.

​

  • Begin in the arena at “A”  tracking right. Walk for 10 strides  

  • Announce “You are now being judged”.

  • Walk halfway around the arena and halt. Halt for 3 seconds and continue at the walk 

  • Approximately midway down the long side, demonstrate a circle to the inside

  • Continue at the walk approximately 75’ and develop the trot. 

  • Trot the long side

  • Transition to the walk towards the end of the long side

  • Continue walking to next corner

  • Reverse direction on the diagonal, continue walking.

  • Approximately midway down the long side demonstrate a circle to the inside, continue walking.

  • Walk approximately 75’ and develop the trot. 

  • Trot the long side

  • Transition to the walk towards the end of the long side

  • Walk approximately 75’, bring the horse to the center of the arena to line up and halt.

  • Wait for Videographer

​
